Clean It Zero Pore Clarifying Cleansing Balm

US stock

The pore-focused, green edition of Banila Co's sherbet cleansing balm, made for oily and combination skin that gets congested. It melts from a soft solid into oil to break down makeup and sunscreen, while a mix of gentle exfoliating acids and tea tree helps clear the sebum and buildup sitting in pores. Best as the first step of an evening double cleanse when blackheads and clogged pores are your main concern.

More detail

Alongside the melting balm base, this version adds three exfoliants that work at different depths — salicylic acid (a BHA), capryloyl salicylic acid (an LHA), and gluconolactone (a PHA) — plus tea tree leaf oil, long used to calm blemish-prone skin. Jojoba oil and a synthetic wax give it the same scoopable, quick-melting sherbet texture as the rest of the Clean It Zero line, and it emulsifies with water to rinse off cleanly. Take a small scoop with the dry spatula, massage over dry skin to dissolve makeup and SPF, then wet and rinse, following with a foaming or gel cleanser. The acids are at rinse-off cleanser levels, so treat this as gentle pore upkeep rather than a real exfoliating treatment. It contains added fragrance, so patch test first if your skin is easily irritated, and keep it out of the eyes.
