From Green Cleansing Oil
An oil-based first cleanser built almost entirely from plant oils, made to dissolve sunscreen and makeup at the end of the day. It stays lightweight and rinses clean with water instead of leaving a heavy film. A good fit for people who wear SPF or makeup daily and want a fragrance-free way to take it off.
More detail
The base is a blend of olive, sunflower, jojoba, sweet almond, and grape seed oils, with tocopherol (vitamin E) as an antioxidant, so it cleans while staying emollient. Sorbeth-30 tetraoleate lets the oil emulsify into a milky texture and wash away with water rather than leaving residue. It is alcohol-free and made without added fragrance or essential oils. Use it as a first step on dry skin: massage over a dry face, add a little water so it turns milky, then rinse and follow with a water-based cleanser. Plant-oil formulas can feel rich, so anyone very prone to clogged pores may want to make sure it is fully rinsed off.
