Exfoliation is both physical and chemical — the textured gauze does the polishing while glycolic, lactic, and tartaric acids (AHAs) loosen dead surface cells — over a base of green tea extract plus centella, mugwort, aloe, and houttuynia for antioxidant, soothing support. Each single-use pad comes presoaked in essence; after cleansing, wipe the mesh side gently over your face avoiding the eye area, follow with the soft side, then continue with your hydrating steps. A jar holds 30 pads, and most skin does better starting two or three evenings a week rather than daily. The formula contains denatured alcohol, tea tree oil, and added fragrance, and it pairs manual scrubbing with acids, so sensitive or reactive skin should go slow or skip it. Since AHAs increase sun sensitivity, use it at night, don't stack it with other strong actives the same evening, and wear sunscreen daily.
