Swipe it over clean skin with a cotton pad or press it in with your hands, then follow with the rest of your routine; because it's mild you can build up from a few times a week. Daily sunscreen matters whenever you're using an AHA. Sensitive or fragrance-avoidant skin should patch test first, and it's best not to layer it right on top of other strong actives.
