It's a dense but spreadable cream that absorbs to a soft, non-tacky finish, so it works as the final moisturizer step morning and night after your serums. Despite its soothing positioning, it is not fragrance-free — the formula includes several essential oils, among them lavender, lemon peel, orange peel, geranium, ylang ylang, and eucalyptus. If your skin reacts to fragrance or essential oils, patch test before committing, since these can be sensitizers for some people. For very dry skin it makes a satisfying winter cream; oilier skin may prefer it only on drier areas or in colder months.
