Mint extract gives the signature cooling, pore-tightening sensation, betaine and sodium hyaluronate add a thin layer of hydration, and the formula is built around keeping skin's pH balanced after cleansing. Alcohol sits second on the ingredient list — that's what makes it evaporate quickly and feel so fresh, and also what makes it better suited to oily skin than dry. Sweep it over the face with a cotton pad after cleansing, morning and night; you can also soak cotton pads with it and rest them on the T-zone for a few minutes as a quick pore pack. Skip it if your skin is dry, dehydrated, or sensitized — the alcohol-and-mint combination is likely to sting or feel uncomfortably tight.
