Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ (KR original)
The Korean-market original of Beauty of Joseon's best-known sunscreen: SPF50+ PA++++ in a light, creamy lotion that feels like a moisturizer and leaves no cast on any skin tone. Its base is 30% rice extract with fermented grain ingredients, so it hydrates and softens while it protects. This version ships from Korea because its newer-generation UV filters aren't yet FDA-listed — that's why a separate US formula exists.
More detail
Protection comes from four modern chemical filters — Uvinul A Plus, Uvinul T 150, Tinosorb M, and Uvasorb HEB — which give high, photostable UVA and UVB coverage without the white cast of mineral filters. The skincare base pairs 30% rice extract and a blend of grain ferment 'probiotics' with niacinamide and adenosine, Korea's standard brightening and anti-wrinkle duo. The texture is a light cream that spreads easily, absorbs quickly, and dries down to a natural, slightly dewy finish; many people wear it in place of a morning moisturizer. Apply generously as the last step of your morning routine, about 15 minutes before going out, and reapply every two hours during real sun exposure. It's fragrance-free and alcohol-free and generally gentle, though a minority of sensitive or breakout-prone users report stinging or clogging from the rich base — patch test if that sounds like you. Sold as a 50 ml tube.

Reviewscommunity links
One of the most consistently praised K-beauty sunscreens in community discussion: reviewers repeatedly highlight its lightweight, moisturizer-like feel, lack of white cast, no eye stinging, and a subtle glow that sits well under makeup, all at a low price. Dissent is a clear minority — some sensitive-skin users report breakouts or irritation, a few see a faint cast on deeper skin tones, and occasional reviewers doubt its protection during long, intense sun exposure.
