Under the UV filters sits a rice-based skincare layer — rice seed water, rice bran oil, rice amino acids, and rice peptides — plus panthenol (B5), hyaluronic acid, ceramide NP, and beta-glucan to hydrate and comfort skin while you wear it. It protects with newer-generation chemical filters — including ethylhexyl triazone, Tinosorb S, and the Mexoryl filters — that are widely used in Korea and Europe but not all approved by the US FDA, so this is an imported formula rather than a US-filter version. The finish is fresh and slightly matte thanks to silica, and it layers cleanly under makeup. Use it as the final step of your morning routine, applied generously about 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied every couple of hours outdoors. It's alcohol-free and fragrance-free, but as with any chemical sunscreen, patch test if your skin or eyes are easily irritated.
