Heartleaf extract, 77% of the formula, is a calming, antioxidant-rich botanical well suited to reactive and redness-prone skin. Gluconolactone, a polyhydroxy acid, provides mild exfoliation without the sting or added sun sensitivity of stronger acids, and a centella complex (madecassoside, asiaticoside, and related actives) adds further soothing; there is no alcohol or fragrance. The large dual-texture pads come drenched in a watery essence: swipe the embossed side over clean skin, avoiding eyes and lips, then flip to the smooth side and press it on wherever skin needs a few minutes of soaking. It is gentle enough for morning and evening use, and Anua's clinical testing reported reduced sebum and less visible pores with consistent use.
