Cica Cream

Korea ranking #46 moisturizerUS stock

VT's long-running centella (cica) cream, a lightweight moisturizer made to calm and steady irritated, reactive skin. It sinks in without feeling heavy or greasy, landing somewhere between a gel and a classic cream. A solid everyday moisturizer for sensitive, oily, or combination skin dealing with redness.

More detail

It carries a full centella complex — madecassoside, asiaticoside, and asiatic and madecassic acids — for soothing and barrier support, backed by panthenol, ceramide NP, beta-glucan, hyaluronic acid, and propolis to hydrate and reinforce the skin. The texture is a light, water-and-oil-balanced cream that layers well and works as your last skincare step, morning and night, over serums. Because it's on the lighter side, very dry skin may want something richer on top in winter. Note that it contains fragrance and a small amount of alcohol, so fragrance-sensitive skin should patch test, and it includes bee-derived propolis and beeswax, worth avoiding if you're allergic to bee products. It isn't labeled fungal-acne safe, so patch test if that's a concern for you.
