Living Cleansing Balm

Olive and grape seed oils do the dissolving, while sea buckthorn oil, persimmon extract, and vitamin E add antioxidants as you cleanse. The balm is firm in the jar, softens into oil on warm skin, and emulsifies into a milky lather when you add water. Scoop a dime-sized amount onto dry skin with the spatula, massage in circles, wet your hands to emulsify, then rinse and follow with a water-based cleanser. It's lightly fragranced with citrus and rosewood oils and contains limonene, so it may not suit skin that's sensitive to scented cleansers.
