Low pH Pore Deep Cleansing Foam

The cleansing base is built on sodium cocoyl isethionate and cocoyl taurate, coconut-derived surfactants that are milder than typical soap and kept at a low pH close to skin's own. Soothing, hydrating extracts round it out, including centella, green tea, witch hazel, sodium hyaluronate and beta-glucan, and fine diatomaceous earth gives clogged pores a very light physical exfoliation. It rinses to a clean, non-stripping finish and works morning or night, though at night it's better as a second cleanse after an oil-based step if you wear makeup or sunscreen. Massage a small amount over damp skin, then rinse with lukewarm water. One thing to note: it contains Litsea cubeba (may chang) fruit oil, a natural citrus-scented essential oil, so patch test first if essential oils tend to bother you.
