Rich Moist Soothing Serum

Hydration comes mainly from a high placement of sodium hyaluronate, joined by beta-glucan and natto gum, soothing water-binding polysaccharides, plus betaine and a range of amino acids to keep skin soft. Centella asiatica, licorice root, and panthenol add the calming, barrier-supporting side that gives the serum its "soothing" label. The texture is watery and fast-absorbing; use it after toner and before your moisturizer, morning and night, patted gently into the skin. It does contain a blend of essential oils toward the end of the list, including lavender, citrus, geranium, and ylang ylang, that give it a faint natural scent, so patch test if fragrance or essential oils tend to bother you.
