Mugwort Essence

The formula centers on Artemisia princeps (mugwort) extract, a traditional Korean soothing herb credited with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties; the current version adds little beyond solvents and a touch of sodium hyaluronate for hydration. It's a pale amber liquid — watery with a slight natural slip — that absorbs quickly and leaves no sticky finish. Use it after cleansing and toner: pat a few drops over the whole face, or soak thin cotton pads in it and rest them on irritated areas for about five minutes as a quick calming pack. It layers easily under serums and moisturizer, morning or night, and suits routines where stronger actives have left skin reactive. There's no added fragrance, alcohol, or essential oils, but the extract has its own distinct herbal scent, and anyone with a known allergy to mugwort or other ragweed-family (Asteraceae) plants should patch test first.
