Honey is the star ingredient and does the heavy lifting — a humectant that pulls in moisture, with naturally soothing and mildly antibacterial qualities — joined by propolis and other bee- and plant-derived nourishers plus a few conditioning oils. The texture is thick and honey-like but settles without staying sticky, and it rinses to a soft, non-greasy finish. After cleansing, spread a generous layer over the face, leave it on anywhere from 10 minutes up to an hour, then rinse off with warm water; a couple of times a week is plenty. It's free of added fragrance, essential oils, alcohol, and silicones, which keeps it gentle. The one caution that matters: it contains honey, propolis, and other bee-derived ingredients, so anyone with a bee or pollen allergy should avoid it or patch test very carefully.
