SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner

The formula runs about a dozen ingredients: panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) to hydrate and support the barrier, madecassoside from centella to calm irritation, plus green tea and skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis) extracts for antioxidant support. Glycerin and betaine handle the base hydration; there is no alcohol, fragrance, or essential oil in the formula. The texture is essentially water with the faintest slip — it absorbs quickly and layers well under anything. Use it after cleansing, morning and night, patted in with hands or swept on with a cotton pad; it is gentle enough to layer several times when skin feels tight. Because it is so mild, it is a good first step back when skin is reacting to stronger actives. No particular cautions beyond the usual patch test for very reactive skin.
