Each box holds 18 thin hydrocolloid patches; the material draws fluid out of a surfaced pimple, seals the spot off from bacteria and picking fingers, and helps it flatten over several hours. There are no actives — no salicylic acid, no tea tree — so it works physically, which also makes it painless and gentle enough for sensitive skin. Apply to clean, completely dry skin before any toner, serum, or moisturizer, since product underneath breaks the adhesion; makeup can go on over the patch afterward. Swap in a fresh patch once the center turns white and opaque. Like all hydrocolloid patches, it does its best work on whiteheads that have come to a head and little for deep or cystic bumps. If invisibility doesn't matter, the original thicker Master Patch does the same job overnight.
