Glycerin and diglycerin do the moisturizing work, holding water on the lips, while squalane adds light, non-greasy slip and apple fruit extract conditions further. The finish is high-gloss and juicy — a clear-looking shine over a translucent tint — and the formula is smudge-resistant, vegan, and alcohol-free. Apply straight from the applicator: dab a little at the center of the lips and blend outward for a soft gradient, or coat fully for more saturated color. It also layers cleanly over lip balm or liner. One note for sensitive skin: the formula does contain added fragrance.
