The spicule particles briefly resurface the skin's surface to help low-molecular actives absorb, while niacinamide works on brightening and barrier support and centella asiatica, with madecassoside and asiaticoside, helps keep things soothed. Glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, and an amino acid complex add hydration so skin stays plump rather than stripped. The liquid is lightweight and alcohol- and fragrance-free, and a prickly, tingling sensation while it absorbs is expected from the spicules.
