Sun protection here comes from mineral filters, zinc oxide and titanium oxide, over a base that's more than a third centella asiatica extract for soothing, plus niacinamide and a little sodium hyaluronate for tone and moisture. Silicones and soft-focus powders give it a slip-on, semi-matte finish that sits well under makeup. Apply it generously as the last step of your morning routine, and reapply through the day when you're out in the sun. Because it's a mineral formula it can leave a slight white or grey cast, most noticeable on deeper skin tones, so it's worth checking in daylight. It also contains fragrance and floral oils (with geraniol, citronellol, and linalool), so very reactive or fragrance-sensitive skin may want to patch test first.
